Is that sure that new low-floor trams for Riga will have trolley poles?

Who knows? They say they all Tatras will go by 2010 - a very big job to change all the overhead wiring for pantographs by then (and keep the trolley poles running at the same time). I guess they will have to do something, though - you can't really have a low-floor with a trolley pole (or can you? - technical reasons?). It would look really funny, too
It's not going to be Combinos, but new Skodas. And I think they'll start replacing the network - look at places in Italy, especially Naples, which only changed its OHLE once the Sirios came a few years ago.

Too clever for me, as a relative newbie - I assume this Theme is the photo graveyard? OK, not nearly my best, but interesting topic, maybe
The topic name is "Oh f...! A tram!" (there is an appropriate version for buses as well). The idea is to chuck all those pics, where you got startled by a vehicle, managed to get a shot of it which came out... hmm... suboptimal, but where the vehicle is still worthy of being put up. Which is roughly where this picture fits in
