30 may 2006 - Riga, Latvia/Latvija – outside Depot III. Riga has an extensive and varied fleet of works trams, including several of these purpose-built water cars. These run all day (and also at night) watering the track to lay dust and lubricate curves, something rarely seen in the 21st century. All Riga trams use trolley poles – perhaps to simplify the many crossings with the trolleybus network, but when the current all-Tatra fleet is completely replaced by new, low-floor designs (planned by 2010) it will be interesting to see if these are retained. A Combino with a trolley pole should be worth seeing!

23 june 2010 - Riga. Moment of 3-302's everyday. "waterboy" is crossing river. I think it was nice moment to catch him unexpected on the bridge without people , without any other transport near.
