8 february 2011 - Bruksela, Nieuwpoortiaan. W związku z remontem tej ulicy, tramwaje kursują tutaj po tymczasowym jednotorze. Dość często zdarza się, że jadą po dwa w stadzie. Jako ciekawostkę dodam, że wagony przejeżdżały tędy z włączonymi światłami awaryjnymi. Orientuje się ktoś, co jest tego powodem?

5 february 2011 - Bruksela, przystanek podziemnego tramwaju Bourse/Beurs. Linia 3 łączy północną część Brukseli z południem. Średnia częstotliwość jej kursowania to 10 minut, kursują na niej takie - zazwyczaj przepełnione - Bombardiery.

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, stacja Horta. Południowy odcinek głównej brukselskiej trasy premetra, przebiegającej średnicowo przez centrum z północy na południe. Docelowo miała zostać ona 'ciężkim' metrem, jednak z planów konwersji zrezygnowano, co w sumie źle nikomu nie wyszło. Obecnie kursują tu przede wszystkim linie-siekiery 3 i 4 obsługiwane przez Bombardiery, ale na odcinku kilku stacji z tunelu korzysta także 51, na której można spotkać przede wszystkim swojskie wagony rodziny PCC.

Trasa linii 51 jest jedną z nielicznych zachowanych w ścisłym centrum miasta. 60 lat temu było ono gęsto oplecione siecią tramwajową, później część zastąpiono metrem lub premetrem, część poszerzeniem jezdni. W latach 1939-64 kursowała także jedna linia trolejbusowa, jednak ta alternatywa dla tramwaju nie znalazła w tym mieście uznania.

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, Quatre Brasstraat. Wagon-sauna wysadził chwilę wcześniej pasażerów na pl. Luizy i za chwilę będzie wracał w kierunku Herrmann-Debroux. W tle widzimy pomnik belgijskiej piechoty, przypominający mi nieco "Czterech Śpiących" z placu Wileńskiego w Warszawie ;-)

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, odc. Jacques Brel - Weststation. B2 to najnowsza generacja wagonów brukselskiego metra - produkowana od 2004 r. przez hiszpańską fabrykę CAF. Tu widzimy pociąg linii 1 wekslujący na połundniowej głowicy swej krańcowej stacji Weststation. Na centralnym odcinku 'jedynce' towarzyszą pociągi linii 5, które to kontynują jazdę po widocznych tu torach kilka km dalej niż jedynka, do położonej w południowo-zachodniej części miasta pętli Erasmus.

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, końcówka Legrand. Linia 94 przejeżdża przez całe miasto, po trasie Stadion - Louiza - Legrand - Herrmann-Debroux. Organizacja ruchu jest pewną osobliwością: tramwaje przez większość dnia kursują tylko w relacjach Stadion - Legrand oraz Louiza - Herrmann-Debroux. Pełną trasę jednym wagonem można przejechać tylko późnym wieczorem.

Pociagi oznaczone jako "6" zaczynaja bieg na widocznym tu dolnym peronie stacji Simonis, robia runde dookola centrum, ponownie przejezdzaja przez stacje Simonis (peron gorny - Leopold II) i kieruja sie na polnoc docierajac do Heizel i stacji im. Krola Badouina. Linia 2 to kursy skrocone, ktore robia tylko kolko Simonis Elisabeth - Simonis Leopold II.

10 july 2010 - Bruksela, stacja Montgomery. Tramwaje jadące po wschodnim odcinku zewnętrznej obwodnicy centrum chowają się na jakies ~3 km do tunelu premetra. Projekty z lat 60. zakładały, że będzie to fragment okrężnej linii metra nr 5. Jej zachodni bok miał stanowić tunel północ-południe wykorzystywany obecnie przez tramwaje #3 i 4. Dzisiejsze plany zakładają pozostawienie istniejącego stanu rzeczy.

Niestety, nie udało mi się znaleźć żadnych bliższych informacji na jego temat. Mam też jego zdjęcie z prawej strony, niestety "rozsadza kadr" jeszcze bardziej niż tutaj...

This Standard car is fitted with a pantograph, so it can go anywhere in the city and isn't just restricted to the Tervuren ine. Originally, it would have had a trolley pole. Line 45 has now disappeared.

As this was also a 'car-free' day in Bruxelles city, a two-minute serve was offered on Line 44 throughout the afternoon. STIB must have very strong power supplies - in some parts of TS in Silesia, the tram almost stops when just one other is travelling in the same section!

The Liege district once had three tramway systems and two trolleybus nets - I wish I'd seen them. Now there are some plans to bring trams back in Liege city.

STIB normally runs both pantograph and trolley-equipped cars between here and Terveuren – a bow collector must have been a new experience for them, but it didn’t seem to matter! If one of these ‘foreign’ trams had brought down the overhead wires, the whole show would have to be stopped, I guess.

This track avoids the subway at Montgomery (used by normal service trams on Lines 39 and 44) and provides a connection to the rest of the network.
