LHB GT 6 #100

21 may 2011 - Trondheim, Dronningens gate. Różnica wysokości względnej pomiędzy pętlami to około 230 metrów.

21 may 2011 - Trondheim, Dronningens gate. Bliżej bieguna północnego tramwaju już nie spotkamy. Łuk z St. Olavs gate w Dronningens gate jest najbardziej wysuniętym na północ fragmentem sieci tramwajowej na świecie.

21 may 2011 - Trondheim.

Scania IK 310 IB4x2NB #LJ 29010

30 april 2008 - Trondheim, Sluppen, Scania. This bus was originally ordered for Italy, but for some reason it was never sent there, and spent probably almost a year at the factory in Estonia before it was sent to Norway as a demonstrator. One very clear sign that it was built for Italy is the blue colour, which is the one used on regional buses there. The colour is also very close to the typical Nettbuss colour, which gave a lot of confusion until it was clear from the order lists that it was ordered by SBI (Scania Bus Italia).

Volvo 9700HD 6x2 #XMA 784

3 january 2010 - Trondheim, railway station. In December the swedes started a new express coach route between Stockholm in Sweden and Trondheim in Norway, in addition to the train routes that are there. Through the winter this route is going very well, because it covers all the wintersport places along the route, but time will tell if it is profitable even in the summer.

Setra S250 #KF 53499

30 december 2009 - Trondheim, Tiller, Wright driving school. Being an interim model between the 200-series and the 300-series, Setra S250 Special probably wasn't very numerious, but only one ever made it to Norway, where it still exists, but now it only serves as a bus for a driving school.

Volvo 9700HD 6x2 #6998

1 january 2010 - Trondheim, railway station. I took this picture just 50 minutes into the new year, so this is my newyear greeting to all of you! The bus is quite special. Until January 2009 it was just an ordinary B12B running in Sweden, but then it was rebuilt as a B13R test bus and is now running on the express coach line between Bergen and Trondheim, which is quite a long distance and a lot of up and down, which makes good use of a big engine.

Scania CN112CL #692

Scania K114IB / Vest Contrast #804

23 november 2007 - Trondheim, Elgeseter gate. This bus is the prototype of the current generation of bus body design from Vest. Many people don't like them, I do.

Solaris Urbino 12 LE #25457

2 june 2008 - Trondheim, Vegamot, Voll gård. This bus was at that time on test for Team Trafikk, and on that day I got to try a Solaris for the first time as a passenger. I was downtown when I found out that they had put it on one of the routes I could take to my flat. And this was on the longest route of them all, which was a great opportunity for testing it. In general I liked it just as good as any other comparable bus I've tried, but there were two things that annoyed me. The DAF engine was way too loud, and had a pitch that was more annoying than other engines I'm used to. The other thing I didn't like was that the alarm sounds when the doors were closing were way too loud. They were almost hurting in my ears. But I guess this can be adjusted. Other than that I like the looks of these buses, and the Jamnik character is really nice, giving them a lot more personality than other buses. The picture was taken after I leaped out of it just outside my flat.
