So what is his official number and year of production - I mean what it has in documents? Generally that's interesting, in Poland sometimes they don't worry about that and change registration plates even in buses of different types!
In its documents it was an Ikarus-280.33 #1994, but it was scrapped earlier with numberplates of this .33M. Also, our "magicans" are so serious too: they turn Mercedes O305 into Neoplan Starliner and Ikarus-283 into LiAZ-5256
In Bulgaria such a thing is done too. The last case was with two scrapped bulgarian tram units. They switched their numbers, no sure why. All trams from this type were scrapped the same time, so there is no difference. Two buses from different brands changed their registration plates. Another case is with two Ikarus 280 buses. This one that should be scrapped, took the number of a unit, that was in service and the original bus was scrapped instead. However, it's not very common.
