29 september 2008 - Bucuresti, Romania – URAC. A further selection from the fascinating RATB central workshops. This tram will obviously never run again, but is an interesting survivor that has (so far) escaped the cutting torch. I know nothing about its history. Double cab works cars like this are still quite common in some Eastern European countries, but this appears to be the only one left in Bucuresti.

Er...I don't think so! See my http://www.phototrans.eu/14,292249,0.html (Timisoara). This is ex-Wien, without a doubt! Look at the windows and fleet number. How it came to be here in Bucuresti, goodness knows. BTW - ltekstrefa.pl site looks interesting - thanks.
It is an ex. Vienna type G originally built in 1901 by Sanok. Reconstructed in 1959 by Gräf & Stift.
