Hi! What is the approximate price of such a bus? I mean - basic version, no Air-Con or any expensive gadgets?
I don't know the exact price, but the Ikarbus sources brag the price is around 30% lower than the same bus from "western bus builders" :-p
Then there's still the question of workmanship - Riga was also very excited about cheap low-floor trolleybuses from MAZ in Minsk (chassis was Neoplan-licensed) and now they regret it...
Just to clarify: I don't have anything against Serbian workmanship - it's just that licensed buses usually suffer from more defects than their "original" counterparts"... Hence my curiosity as to whether this model will follow the rule or not.
So far the vehicles proved very well in the heavy exploitation in Belgrade dense traffic. The time will only tell what will happen in the future. Ikarbus has made so far many prototypes that never went to mass production.
