  Maybe it's all because trolleybuses don't really have other advantages than less emission and noise?

  Trolleybuses are cleaner, quieter, smoother and more comfortable to ride and probably cheaper to run than a bus - so why would anyone want to use them

  I wanted to count it if they are cheaper to run. In Poland they are not cheaper neither in Lublin, nor in Gdynia. In Lublin one kilometer of bus costs 5,50 Zlotys, when trolleybus costs 6,50 Zlotys per km. In Gdynia - even more. These are only two cities, but is there a place, where trolleybuses are really cheaper? I wonder what should be changed in Polish cities to make them less expensive.

  Energy cost is only small (few %) share of total trolleybus cost.
