Germany was always particularly keen on purpose-built, matching tram trailers and many of these ex-Bremen examples have found their way to Timisoara, where they are still used extensively. Articulated trailers like this aren’t so commonplace.

Only Bremen, Bremerhaven, Munich and the Rhein-Haardt Bahn ever had artic trailers. Bremen even had 3-axle artic trailers at some point.
Some of the Munchen ones still run at Craiova (although seem to spend a lot of time in the workshops, having their central radial axle arrangement repaired).
Good grief - wonder why the hell they didn't replace the undercarriage like in Bucharest...
