Obie trasy zostały w latach 80. konwertowane z kolejowych na tramwajowe, zaś dawna kolejowa przeprawa Sandridge Bridge została udostępniona pieszym i stanowi najszybsze dojście z dworca kolejowego Flinders Street do biurowców zbudowanych na południowym brzegu rzeki Yarra.
