26 september 2008 - Bucuresti, Romania – zajezdnia Militari. An odd little works tram, abandoned and surrounded by old bogies at Militari. The body is identifiable as a former V35 Type passenger tram, but it now runs on what appears to be a single PCC-type bogie. An odd combination – the riding characteristics must have been interesting, to say the least……
4 october 2008 - Timisoara, Romania – museum depot Take Ionescu. A little Bucuresti tram that has found its way to the museum collection. A few of these ran in service in Timisoara.
6 october 2008 - Ghioroc, Romania – depot/zajezdnia. The little tram depot was once exclusively to serve the interurban line from Arad, but is nowadays kept as a museum store and a resting place for other odds and ends. This smartly-restored V56 car was used extensively on the Arad city lines until the 1970s. It didn’t work on the Ghioroc line, though, which was then separate and ran very large and impressive Ganz interurban cars.
