12 may 2007 - Gmunden, At - Tennisplatz: Gmunden #5 is normally kept in reserve for special journeys and Lohner car #8 is one of the more normal service trams. Built in 1962, this is now the very last Austrian `Grossraumwagen` non-articulated tram in service anywhere. Unfortunately, when I visited in 2007 it was rather spoilt by being painted in an allover `McDonalds` advertising livery. Here it is, crossing over car #5 at the halfway passing loop.

8 march 2016 - Gmunden, Bahnhof. Niemal każda moja wizyta w Gmunden skutkuje opadem szczeny: w 2012 roku zaskoczyła mnie obecność Bombardierów z IVB, w 2015 roku nowy przystanek Traunseebahn na Klosterplatz, a w tym roku niespodzianką była nowa krańcówka dla tramwajów przy dworcu kolejowym (na foto). Generalnie cały czas coś się dzieje i - mimo protestów - w Centrum miasta trwa budowa torowiska, która połączy tramwaj z Traunseebahn.

19 august 2014 - Gmunden, Alois-Kaltenbrunner-Straße. Nieśmiertelny wagon w reklamie McD zjeżdża w kierunku centrum miasteczka. W dole widoczne wody jeziora Traunsee. Nad okolica górują monumentalny, skalisty Traunstein (1691 m n.p.m.) oraz mniejszy, zalesiony Grünberg (984 m n.p.m.)

1969 - Innsbruck (AT) -Maria-Theresienstrasse. Another slide from my first European trip in 1969. At this time, trams ran in both directions past the famous monument. These classic 'grossraumwagen' were a copy of the Düwag design, built by Lohner in Wien. They didn't last too long in Innsbruck, as a batch of bigger GT6 cars arrived in the early 1970s, so they were retired from service.

12 may 2007 - Gmunden (AT) - Alois-Kaltenbruner-Strasse. Lohner tram #8 reaches the top of the fearsome 10% grade from the lake side. This is the only Austrian-built ‘Grossraumwagen’ left in passenger service.

12 may 2007 - Gmunden, Austria - Alois-Kaltenbruner-Strasse. This tiny 2.3km long tramway, owned by the famous Stern und Hafferl company, has run since 1894 from Gmunden railway station, down to the town centre on a maximum gradient of 10%. Car 8, seen near the top of the hill, is a genuine Austrian Lohner from 1961. A modern, low-floor Flexity Outlook tram has recently been tested in Gmunden – is nothing sacred?

Na temat linii tramwajowej w tym miasteczku można poczytać w opisach zdjęć Strasznego, natomiast ja osobiście mam pewną wątpliwość co do oznaczenia przewoźnika, czy też operatora tej linii - z niemieckim u mnie kiepsko, więc na razie nic nie zmieniam, ale proszę o opinie. Ze strony http://www.stern-verkehr.at/ (ten adres jest podawany na przystankowych rozkładach jazdy) wynikałoby, że przewoźnikiem jest firma "Stern & Hafferl Verkehr GmbH".

11 october 2005 - Gmunden (Austria). Linię obsługują planowo 2 wagony, trzeci stanowi rezerwę. Specjalnie dla Gmunden wyprodukowano jedną sztukę skróconej wersji wiedeńczyka. Pozdrowienia dla pana w Volkswagenie za zatrzymanie się na widok robiących zdjęcie - dzięki temu nie zepsuł ujęcia :-)

11 october 2005 - Gmunden (Austria). Linia G w Gmunden łączy od 112 lat dworzec kolejowy z centrum miasteczka położonym nad jeziorem Traunsee. Z tego też powodu zalicza na swojej trasie jeden z największych spadków - 10%.

11 october 2005 - Gmunden (Austria). Sieć tramwajowa w tym 13-tysięcznym miasteczku jest z wielu powodów godna odwiedzenia, m.in. dlatego że liczy tylko 2,3 km, a tabor liniowy to tylko 3 wagony. Dodam że nie jest to żadna sezonowa atrakcja typu omnibus konny tylko normalna regularna linia tramwajowa.
