19 december 2008 - Olsztyn, al. Piłsudskiego. Niemal 49 miesięcy po pierwszym na TWB zdjęciu tego pojazdu możemy obserwować jak atrakcyjną formę przybrało dziś budowane wtedy centrum handlowe Alfa. To tak dla kontrastu ze zdjęciem, które wrzuci widoczny na zdjęciu forestus (wzbudzający zainteresowanie pijanej młodzieży :D ).

3 may 1987 - Crawley, West Sussex, UK. Something a little different and uniquely British. The Tilling-Stevens Petrol-Electric bus was designed to be easily driven by tram drivers (no gear lever). A petrol engine runs at a constant speed and drives an electric generator, which in turn powers an electric motor to turn the wheels. To increase speed, the driver moves control levers just like a tramcar. This rare survivor was found in a field and completely rebuilt from a heap of junk by a friend of mine. It originally ran for the North Western Road Car Company and now lives in a Manchester museum.

3 may 1987 - Crawley, West Sussex, UK. This fabulous little machine was built by Commer Cars in 1909 for a wealthy Lord’s private estate, and would carry his guests from his mansion in Cumbria to the railway station, on shooting expeditions and anywhere they needed to go. It eventually finished up in a barn, where it was discovered in the 1950s and fully restored. This is one of the oldest buses in the UK.

3 may 1987 - Crawley, West Sussex, UK. The annual London to Brighton Historic Commercial Vehicle rally always features a selection of buses and coaches, many of which are new entrants. This Commer Commando is typical of the smaller, post-war coaches that ran in great numbers in the UK – many were ex-military transport. A nice smiley bus!

3 may 1987 - Crawley, West Sussex, UK. Dennis was a major UK bus builder until about 30 years ago. The company then stopped making buses completely until, under new ownership in the 1990s, it started producing a few double-deck chassis and then the Dennis Dart, which is a major success story and found just about everywhere. So, this is the grandfather of the Dennis Dart!

17 august 1999 - Thuin, Belgium. The ASVi tramway museum features street running, which is unusual for an enthusiast-run operation. The line was once an electrified route of the extensive Vicinal system but was closed and de-electrified in the 1990s. ASVi have worked very hard to restore electric operation, but for some years could only run with diesel powered trams, like ART300 shown here.

30 august 1989 - Crich, Derbyshire – National Tramway Museum. Glasgow 22 is a typical ‘Standard’ car restored to original condition with open end balconies. The top decks of Glasgow trams were painted different colours to show which route they operated – this was a ‘white’ car. Many people in those days couldn’t read the destination screens………

30 august 1989 - Crich, Derbyshire, UK – National Tramway Museum. Paisley is close to Glasgow and trams ran through between the two cities until Glasgow eventually took over the entire system. This tram was built in 1919 and has been restored to original condition.

30 august 1989 - Crich, Derbyshire, UK – National Tramway Museum. London County Council ran its own extensive tramway system until London Transport was formed in 1933. This is a B Class car of 1903. On the museum tramway at Cliffside, single line tokens are being exchanged by the drivers so two trams can pass, whilst 106’s conductor is busy upstairs collecting fares and issuing tickets. This tram would originally have run with conduit current collection, not overhead wires.

3 may 2005 - Gera (Niemcy), Bieblach Ost. Linia 3 w Gerze łączy północne blokowisko z południowym blokowiskiem. Przez wiele lat była w zasadzie jedyną linią w mieście, nie licząc kursującej w dp kikutowej dwójki. Obsługiwana była składami katówek. Niektóre tatry otrzymały niską wstawkę.
