28 may 2023 - Braila, Strada Poet Grigore Alexandrescu. The only tram I saw operating during my 24 hours in Braila. This only operated from the tram depot a short way to the south of the city. From the depot through the town to the northern depot the line was completely closed for modernisation. I hope the line will reopen soon!

That meant all 3 remaining former Rotterdam trams were stored at the depot. I wonder whether they will ever operate again, as the staff said new trams were due for Braila once the modernisation work is complete.

1 august 2016 - Braiła, Bulwar Niepodległości (21). Jak w większości miast Rumunii także i tutaj trzon taboru od wielu lat stanowią używane tramwaje z Austrii, Niemiec i Holandii. Nie świadczy to dobrze o rodzimym przemyśle transportu szynowego.

29 july 2022 - Braiła, ul. Walter Mărăcineanu. Niestety, podczas wizyty w Braile mieliśmy niemałego pecha. Tego dnia jeździła jedynie linia 22 (5 wagonów, w tym 2 wiedeńce) oraz 24 i 25 (BWL obsługiwana wiedeńcem), więc nie udało się przejechać ex. berlińską katówką. Pozostało jedynie zrobienie zdjęcia przez płot zajezdni.

W przeciwieństwie do mieszkańców Wiednia, mieszkańcy Braiły nadal mogą delektować się podróżą klasycznym wiedeńcem ;) Mimo prawie czterdziestostopniowego upału, jak widać na zdjęciu, wszystkie okna po prawej stronie są zamknięte. Tak, zgadliście, nie da się ich otworzyć.
