7 april 2018 - Babylon, station. SCT feeder bus and a Long Island Railroad train, which has just finished its 33-mile / 55 km trip from Manhattan along the Montauk Branch, one of LIRR two major lines connecting NYC with the Long Island suburbs. The third-rail electrification ends in Babylon and therefore, all EMU trains terminate here. The further, eastern section of the line sees approx. 10-15 trains operated with a diesel locomotive and double-decker cars.
