Aren't the diesel regiotram lines around Kassel operated with semaphores? Also, what can these things do in diesel mode? I heard the engines they put into them aren't too strong, because they would take up too much space. / A czy kolo Kassel nie ma linii dieslowskich z semaforami, po ktorych kursuja dwusystemowce? I jak szybko sie te wagony poruszaja w trybie spalinowym - slyszalem, ze silnik w nich nie jest zbyt mocny, bo zajmowalby inaczej za duzo miejsca wewnatrz.
@straphan - the Kassel lines are all colour light signalled. These Duo Combinos go about 50-55km.hour in diesel mode - quite a small engine. The Nordhausen Combinos are very small, though, and the line is fairly flat.
Sure - that helps. The engine is basically something taken out of a big BMW, isn't it?
