Daimler CVD6 / Burlingham #019
3 may 2009 - Redhill (UK) – Brighton Road - HCVS Rally. Daimler built some very refined buses in the 1950s and 1960s, then went on the produce the very popular Fleetline double decker, but eventually faded from the scene completely. This CVD6 has a Burlingham coach body and was new to Alexanders in Scotland. This is the first single-deck Daimler pictured here – they were a very nice bus and came in several variants.

4 may 2008 - Redhill, Surrey, UK – Brighton Road. A typical post-war British half-cab coach, this Daimler was new to Alexander (Northern) in Scotland as their D19. It is now privately owned and in the colours of Bluebird Coaches.
