11 april 1956 - Weingarten (DE) – Charlottenplatz. Another ET motor car, this time drawing ancient 4-wheeled trailer #E8 – this dated right back to steam tramway days and was built by MAN in 1888. Amazingly, several of these trailers remained in passenger service until the line closed in 1959 -over 70 years old! I wonder how many 2009 trams will still be running in 2080?
