10 april 2014 - Union Street, Oldham, UK: Oldham is a large town part way between Manchester and Rochdale, served since 2013 by the fast-expanding Manchester Metrolink tramway system. The trams took over a heavy rail line which passed round Oldham but didn`t really serve the centre of town, so the tramway leaves the old railway alignment and passes directly along some of the principal streets, as seen here.
