10 april 2014 - Abraham Moss, Manchester, UK: The last few weeks of Ansaldo T68 operation on Manchester Metrolink saw #2003 here on a Bury service. As the system greatly expanded in 2014 with new lines to Rochdale and the airport, Transport for Greater Manchester decided to replace all these 1999 trams with Bombardier cars, even though they were still in extremely good condition and (in tramway terms) only just middle-aged (indeed, I clearly remember my first visit to see them, just a few weeks after the system first opened). I`m not sure if a buyer was ever found for them, as the high floor layout means only a limited second-hand market.
