Larger openable parts is an option for the southern version. Tushino-Auto, which bought buses for Moscow up to this year, (They get profit, up-assemling them) don't know, that in summer there are awful conditions because of the bad ventilation, especially - at the driver's place.
It's a pity that newly-bought buses don't satisfy passengers' and drivers' basic needs. In terms of ventilation, we suffered similiar problems in Poland in 1990s, when Ikaruses with big openable windows were replaced by Neoplans and Solarises with only very small rotatable parts.
I think, that in modern buses engineers suppose, that buyers would pay for the air conditioning systems, but the buyers try to pay less for the best, and don't buy the options.
