I'll see what I can do. There's not much I know about the cars, other than that they are of the so-called "Fünffensterwagen" type ("five window car") which was Düsseldorf's standard in the 1920s. Route 29 was the highest-numbered Düsseldorf town route ever, but even taking its two incarnations together, it only existed for twelve years. In its last years (1953-1956, after which the services became extra runs within route 9), it ran between Bruchstraße loop in Flingern and Mannesmannufer. Bruchstraße turning loop is still in use for some route 719 runs and indeed route 719 seems to be a direct descendent of old route 29. Mannesmannufer terminus must've been on the quays of the Rhine close to the present-day state parliament; the modern replacement terminus in the vicinity is Polizeipräsidium. This train has presumably just left Bruchstraße loop as Hoffeldstraße was the first stop down the line.
