The fuel consumption is too high, there are a lot of break welds on the chassis, leaking windows, rust. The interior is not is not suitable for heavy duty lines (too high floor, few tubes to hold). There is no interest to invest money in these buses. For now ex-486, 502, 503 are scrapped, ex-482 and 495 are not used. The rest of Volvos are in using, but they are tragedy.
These Volvo buses aren't that tragic but almost all of them are in very bad condition (as Tony says)
This is ex-GVB 494 not a very bad one
