  @JP - thanks for your help with translation, and to Ciuchajka with info. I realise this was called another company then, but I only know the initials (LWEKD) and not the actual name of it. Somewhere in my house, I have the book about Lodz interurbans, but can't find it at the moment. Maybe I will find it, then I will add more info.

  Thanks, everyone - so the motor trams were built at the Riga factory (where Russian RVZ Type trams were also built in 1950s/60s? Very interesting
