Bristol Lodekka FS #YDL 315
4 may 2008 - Redhill, Surrey (GB) – The Cutting. Taking part in the 2008 Historic Commercial Vehicles London – Brighton rally, this Bristol was previously owned by the Isle of Wight bus operator. The Lodekka was an important bus, being the first low-height, double deck design for the UK market and was popular in the 1960s. Not all operators were allowed to buy it, though, so Dennis built the very similar Loline bus for them under licence.
