AEC Swift / Marshall #248
2 august 2009 - Stokes Bay, Gosport, Hampshire (UK). I think this is the first AEC Swift pictured here - surprising, as many were built, especially for London Transport, who thought they could replace double-deck buses on many routes. They soon realised that they weren't really suitable for heavy London traffic and sold them to other operators. This one never worked in London, but in the town of St Helens, Lancashire.
