Ford Transit / Robin Hood B16F #C 869 DYD
2 august 2009 - Stokes Bay, Gosport, Hampshire (UK). When UK bus companies were deregulated, some decided to introduce lots of small minibuses, running frequent services, instead of the full-sized buses they had used before. This Ford Transit was a typical example. Buses like these became known as 'bread vans' (and they were about as comfortable) and were not a success, being far too light and small for serious bus work. They didn't last long! Some large bus companies replaced ALL their normal buses with these monsters - believe it or not, this is a 16 seater!
