13 july 2008 - Kijów, bulwar Soszenka. Takie oto trzyosiowe cudo powstało w fabryce produkującej popularne marszrutki marki Bogdan. Muszę przyznać, że totalnie mnie wtedy zaskoczył ;-).

30 august 2008 - Kyiv, vul. Heroiv Dnipra. One of the ugliest trolleybuses I’ve ever seen slowly struggled through one of plenty roundabouts in northern estates of Kyiv. In the foreground we can see two billboards – first contains advert which prompts to buy linoleum (which is certainly rather cheap, about 4€ for square meter) and second is way more interesting. It’s part of Party of Regions (led by Viktor Yanukovych) campaign for jolly up the Ukrainians. But I don’t think that billboards containing happy children and “let’s smile” are the sufficient comfort when you were sacked from your company, your bank holds your money and doesn’t seem to give them back. What worse still vista of EURO 2012 is slowly receding from Ukraine.

1 june 2010 - Kijów, ul. Soszenki. Fabryka Bogdan rwie się do produkcji wszystkiego, na co tylko może być zbyt. W ten właśnie sposób powstał widoczny na powyższym zdjęciu koszmarek. Podstawą produkcji są jednak małe 35 lub 46 miejscowe Bogdany A092 z 121- lub 146-konnym silnikiem Isuzu, które tłucze się w tysiącach. Bogdan na swojej stronie podaje, że produkuje ich do 3000 rocznie.

30 august 2008 - Kyiv, vul. Timoshenko. Don’t be deceived by coincidence of surnames. This Timoshenko has nothing to do with the Ukrainian PM. Coming back to the trolleybuses, I managed to catch 66,7% of Bohdan E231 in Kyiv within 40 minutes. Today such accomplishment would not be possible – all three of them stay out of service in the depot.
